I just ordered a solar geysers (2x) and actually paid the deposit (R23,000). After I paid I told them I paid the deposit, but that I didn't notice the R500 discount offered if I order via the internet. I was told that I do not qualify as a consultant from them came to see me and provided a quote then. That was almost a year ago. It is so frustrating that I actually would love to cancel this transaction. Anyone know how I can approach the company. I received the quote, paid the deposit, and then heard I do not qualify. I am unfortunately the person that would lose R1,000 in "administration" costs just to make a point.
I have not yet confirmed the order. I just paid the deposit. I have heard that the Consumer Act allows me 24 hours cool down period.
