Hi folks,
Well, as a lot of you will know, I'm on a search for a good speaker to match my VA Epsilon, but with a very limited budget. I've come across these Wharfedale Opus 2's on the classifieds, and just wondered what peoples opinions are of this speaker?
I used to own several Wharfedale speakers, and always enjoyed them, the most recent of which was the Diamond 9.5's. They were the best I'd heard until I got my Bostons and then subsequently got into higher end equipment. The Bostons really did outshine the 9.5's in every way, but I always liked the look of the OPUS series despite their hefty price tag.
Since this range is considered the 'top of the range' series for Wharfedale, I wondered if anyone had listened or owned a pair, and what their opinions of them was?
I realise they are not considered 'Audiophile' speakers, but can they be considered a step up from my Boston VR2's?
Regards
G!
