Hey folks. So I was wondering... What has happened to Pioneer AVRs???
My first "real" Avr was a Pioneer Vsx 1122, Bought it with bonus bucks... never thought I would spend so much on sound.... well that didn't last long!
Anyways, after been blown away by all I could do feature wise and how my sound improved.... (I had a sony system prior.)
I decided to upgrade to another Pioneer... the SC1224k.
Wow!! What an upgrade!!
Long story short, having a power surge and couldnt find a replacement same features etc, so now I hav an Anthen mrx 310....
I just dont see the advertising or hype on Pioneer in Sa anynore.... what hifi always had articles on there SC or Elite series, the SC LX 59 being there best reciever and always used as refrence material....
What is everyones thoughts or has Pioneer just dropped off the radar in SA or the World for that matter since joining forces with Onkyo?
