What is the best 'out of the box' media player

As the title suggests, my media player is ageing so time for a new one.

I've considered the following:

Mede-ate-her: Well known for quality and versatility

Xtremer Pro2 : another solid performer

Apple TV (jailbroken of course) : handy to stream media to our iPads (SO and mine)


Any others I need to look at?
