I have a Yamaha A700.
On the inside are supposed to be two leads going from the main PCB to the top of the main heat sinks. Mine doesn't have those leads and transistors and it doesn't seem to have an effect on sound quality. It is replaced with diodes directly on the PCB.
Just interested in learning more.
