looking for some advice for a mate who has just received his UPA-7 and UMC-1. Looking for a 5.1 speaker setup, probably in the R20k to R30k range.
Any ideas?
went to look at the Polks, listened to the A5's with FXi A4 (surrounds), CSi A4 (center). sounded ok.
What really threw me was the comment from the sales person that the A7's were not suitable as we would blow the tweeter? now firstly, from the specs I have read, the tweeters are the same as the A5's but secondly, (and maybe I am completely clueless here) but surely you are more likely to blow a smaller speaker (A5's with recc power of 20w to 250w) than a larger one(A7s with rec power of 20w to 300w)?
