this past weekend i was in PTA and i popped in at Sound and Image and right in the front there was this huge JAMO set connected to Marantz electronics.
ofcourse i wanted to listen and it sounded awesome, big clean sound (to me). immediately i felt it may be time to upgrade my stuff. granted i havent had much time with my system lately. after a year or so with the same system i just usually get bored and want to try something else.
so i am seriously tempted by the JAMO C9 series, but my plan was that whenever i needed to change, it would be to DALI IKON.
now coming from Dynaudio Audience 72 fronts and DM series centre, im not sure this would be an upgrade, either way. the salesman tried selling me on the 'new technology' of the JAMO stuff, im just not sure its still in the same class as dynaudio.
would this be an upgrade, considering the 'newer woofer technology' of the JAMO,
should i decide to upgrade/sidegrade, would the JAMO be a better choice than the DALI, just your opinion please. yes i would love to listen if somebody in Dbn had both the brands in one listening room.
my room is about 4m x 8m and i sit short ways
