Howzit guys
Perhaps you can help. After visiting countless stores, I am more confused now than I was when I started doing research for my Home Theatre.
Nothing fancy, but part of the every day TV watching (60%) Movies (30%) and Gaming (10%). Room size approx. 4m x 5m
I have made the decision to go with the Boston Classic speakers although have been offered a set of JBL's from a franchise retailer. (the model slips my mind)
But the choice of AV Receiver still eludes me. Do I go with the
* NAD T747
* Yamaha RX-v767
* Denon 2311
Each Salesman / installer has their own opinion. Some say one brand is cheaply constructed, the other is over priced etc etc.
Also when it comes to choosing the Blu Ray player should I pair it up with the same brand as the AV Receiver or just go with the cheaper off the shelf player. I find the loading times and even the tray opening times on some of the "hi end" players take forever.
Looking forward to seeing what you suggest. (please no more options like the onkyo as the decision is tough enough with 3 contenders)
Best wishes
