Which Cassette Tape?

Last I touched a cassette deck was 1995 or so and I used mostly Type 2 and some Type IV cassettes which were very affordable at that stage.
NO MORE !! so it seems to revert back to Type I tapes. Is there a tape Type I which could be recommended by the forum guys ? and also a recommendation for a Type II tape . It will prevent me from spending 1000s of Rand to go through every manufacturer.
My recently purchased pre-loved Deck (SONY TC-FX6) may not be audiophile but serves my purposes nicely. It caters for all types of tape + Dolby C
Thanks Guys..........I would also appreciate your help with reliable, local sources if applicable.
