Hi guys
I know my question is going to bring differing opinions, rather than right or wrong answers, but that it what I am looking for to help make the decision. I would like my next purchase to be a stereo power amp (or possibly 2 mono blocks) and would have a budget of no more than R10k. It would go into my theatre room and would be used to drive my 2 fronts speakers (B&W CDM 9NT's) and I would use my Rotel 1075 to drive the centre and 4 B&W M1's in my 7.1 set up. I am using a Marantz 7005 processor and an Oppo BDp 95 blu ray player as my source (using the anlogue inputs and not HDMI).
I would really like a MUSICAL power amp as we spend far more time listening to music than watching tv/movies. If you were in my situation, what stereo power amp (or 2 mono blocks) would you be saving up for and why?
Alastair
