Hi guys,
Been follow some discussions on the forum for a while now, but this is my first post.
Needing some advise on turntables. I have a Technics SL1200, that needs loads of attention and love (money).
So I've been looking around, reading reviews etc...
Basically I need to decide keep it and fix it up or get a new entry level turntable.
I would like to get some input from forum members.
From what I've seen so far, I think my choices are as follows:
1. Keep the 1200 and spend the money on fixing it.
2. Rega RP1
3. Pro-Ject debut (I think)
From what I've read those 2 are good entry level turntables and it's more or less in the price range I want to look at.
I don't want to spend money on equipment forever and a day, so I want something nice with decent sound that will last me a while.
What would your sugesstions be? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
