Whole house audio system

Hi Guys

I am looking for some advice please

I would like to install an audio system in my house
I have a main system in my TV room
But would like to extend it to my kitchen ( tv+audio ) study (tv+Audio) and main bedroom (tv+audio) patio just audio

Anybody done something like this DIY

Does not need to be something to fancy, just basic so i can change channels or change source, i also have a media player in my tv room and would be great if i could watch that in the other rooms
I have all the speakers so advice on all the other bits

All input would be greatly appreciated
