HI all, hope someone can advise. My Mom in Law is a pensioner out here on the plots. Someone donated an old Toshiba laptop to her so that we can sign her up for Netflix for something to watch.
The machine is unfortunately a disaster with all sorts of shortcuts missing that have led to a situation where even though I can connect to her network and ping sites, her only way to connect to the Internet is through IE Explorer, and all I get are error messages that it can't connect to the Internet.
It's been such a waste of time that I want to do a complete reset, but it needs the Windows disc/s, which she wasn't given... Is there any other way to do this?
