I got a bit of a skrik when I got this 'warning' a few days ago for the first time. When it appeared, I did a defrag and the warning hasn't appeared again until today.
Since then, I also cleaned-out a really massive Picasa gallery and did a disc cleanup.
The text of the warning goes like this: "Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory page. During this process, memory requests for some applications may be denied. For information see Help"
I have noticed during the typing of posts, their is sometimes a bit of 'hang' or lagging.
What's up here and can I do something about this? I recently started using google chrome as a browser but have not yet removed IE8 for no particular reason.
