Im looking for a new receiver that i would like to use in my entertainment area.
I have been looking at the Yamaha A-S801, or 701 and the specs seem pretty good.
Would probably use 4 large bookshelf speakers (Not sure what yet) and a 10 or 12" sub.
I see it has a built in Dac as well. Seems like a pretty good all in one.
Wanted to hear of any experiences forum members may have had with one of these.
Im thinking this is probably overkill but also thought it would be a good investment.
Also if there are any other suggestions of alternatives to look at...
