I noticed a NS1000 in Gumtree (R4500)...but alas the seller suspects the tweeters to be broken..... I must be honest...really ???!!? One will hear this clearly ? And the cabinets look crappy....
But.... I noticed a LOT of people looking for tweeters. And NOS are running out. There seems to be a market selling them, $200-$300 per pair IF you are lucky.
No I am STILL crying on missing out the NS2000 from a while ago. I heard my first GREAT music on NS1000's just as they were released on the market.
Is there any reason to pursue this dream ? Are they as good as a B&W802N ? Quad 2905 ? Or maybe more in Monitor Audio/PSB/Platinum Audio etc level ? I guess they are better than Mission/Boston/Jamo ?
I heard AR11's are they were so so good. I also heard a MG20 that sounded quite ordinary
