I need some advice, I bought a Yamaha RX A810, very happy with it, I have a 9.1 speaker setup, and the 810 have a 7.2 +2ch function according to the manual, it will power both front presence and rear presence speakers, but not simultaneously, will I be able to have a proper 9.2 system, if I add a power amp to the presence speakers? (manual not clear at all on this) I have a Yamaha A1 amp, that I can use as a power amp, 2 or 4 ch driven, as well as a Nad 214 power amp. If all goes well, I might get my hand on a Rotel 100w x 5, that I can use for my main 5 channels.
I will in time sell my A1 and buy a proper power amp.
For now I want 9.1 ch driven simultaneously from my A810. :dop:
