I have decided that I am going to DIY the air core inductors for the speakers I am building.
Since money is a bit tight I have to source my enameled copper wire from somewhere else. The best place to look for scrap metal is of course at a scrap metal recycle center.
Just returned home after a scrounged around on the scrap heap for some 'eavy duty solenoids. Found a pair...
Now this is what I like to call "recycling on a higher level" - for these "scrap items" (or part there of) are now going to do duty producing heavenly music!
