Your earliest, most memorable movie moments
There is one particular movie that I'll probably never forget. It is called "Melody", starring Mark Lester.
It was the first day of school (sub A). My oldest brother fetched me after school. He was in high school, and bunking on the day. He took me straight from my school to the cinema. I remember the feeling of guilt, knowing that he should not be home, and I should not be going with him.
Anyway, that was the first time I had heard popular songs in a movie, and it was a great experience for me. The main characters were a young boy and girl close to my age, and they were in love (as much as two kids can be). The songs I remember were Melody Fair and The First of May by the Bee Gees. I read that there was also some Crossby, Stills, Nash & Young, but I must admit that I actually don't remember much about the movie. However, the experience was unforgettable. It was the coolest thing a big brother could do.
