    No , Scratch X is just a mildly abrasive polish that just ensured that all the marks on the speakers were removed leavign a nice even finish ,  cracks in the paint however is a bit beyond it's capabilities.

    What do you guys think, the speaker cabinets look a bit rough , should I have them resprayed? I have a very good painter that would achieve a good finish but will it detract from the originality?

    Why do people invest in HT...?

    I have to agree with you on the HT situation getting completely out of hand. When I see the size and number of speakers some of these systems have It just seems like overkill.
