Shit!!! Iv got years n years of copying music to mp3... Of the cds are gone. Guess what iv got will have to stay as mp3, will have to start ripping everything to flac from now on then :(

Are you listening to lossless files? Flac, etc. Still need to get to understand the "lossless" files thing... My music is all mp3. Is there a way to convert from mp3 to flac?

Great! I will have to try get one on loan and listen before making a final decision... Hdmi from the laptop sounds pretty good though, would like to see if theres a definite difference...

Been wondering, looking at getting a DAC, but is a laptop or htpc maybe better? Iv got all my music on my laptop and find that coupling this to my av amp via hdmi or my stereo setup via rca to 3.5mm jack sounds great... Is a DAC better? If so, how?

Im very disappointed.. This mavhine is absolutely beautiful, would love to keep it, but dont still want to spend a fortune on getting it working properly, than i rather just spend more and get a Linn or a Rega. Thoughts?

And it doesn't work... Anticlimax of the day. Anyone know of a good place to take it to? At lift it starts spinning, moves the tonearm to the record and that's it. If I place the needle on the lp it moves quickly to the centre, engages the return and drags the needle back across the lp.
