    Clear burglar bars

Doubt it will make a difference. Currently don't have burglar bars on anything except the main bedroom.

    Clear burglar bars

Ah, it will only be the bedrooms side of the house. Not to worried about my premium as it's already low

    Clear burglar bars

Not that obvious... What do I need to check with them, do you mean on the product itself?

    Random DIY stories

I don't have much say - I get shown a picture from pintrest, and am told "that's what we want"

    Random DIY stories

    Random DIY stories

Thanks - we have minimal space in our garage, very narrow - struggle to fit in both cars, so I have to park them each evening - looking at moving all the small things to the front - so these might be an option.

    Clear burglar bars

I'm not too worried about them being cut through if they're alarmed. The area behind them outside will also be covered by beams. If someone wants in, they'll eventually get in no matter what you have protecting your house (given time) I've also read they become brittle over time.

How strong are those wall brackets? Thinking of using them in the garage.

    Clear burglar bars

Trying to get as much input as possible. We currently have metal bars in our bedroom - but as my wife is expecting - we now have to extend this to the other bedrooms, however, I really do not want to go with metal bars, I hate the feeling of living in a cage. Anyone have opinions on the clear...

    Communica

Its been open a few months, might not look like it from the outside. Don't expect any decent service though.

    Immigration Sales

Exactly this - there are probably five companies in Cape Town that'll employ a white male at my level. Three of which only do international work. I've been pressing the emigration route for awhile now - my wife has yet to budge. Paying the price for generations before me.

People that advertise stuff and then do not communicate at all

I sell things on gumtree - and I ignore about 80% of buyers. 1.) I don't respond to call requests. Its usually a waste of my time - and not worth the money. 2.) I don't respond to ridiculous offers,. 3.) I don't respond to people who start with a long story about how its too expensive. 4.) If...

CISA electric door locks, hows it work?

Thanks Chris -  took the wheel out so I could manually open the door - is the red button on the lock itself supposed to work even without power? Re: testing - there is power on the actual wiring - 12v when the external button is pressed. Haven't checked with it connected to the coil. I'll do so.

Is it possible for different hard surfaces to affect bass drastically?

Tried different spots in the room - even the crawling around "trick".... much the same. Played around with the sub configuration last night - and ended up with terrible sounding bass, basically the complete opposite of what I had.  Maybe its the configuration on the sub? I moved the subs from...

CISA electric door locks, hows it work?

Back on my cisa lock... Took it off to redo the door, which came out ok... Now putting it back, it doesn't work. The red button on the lock also doesn't work, does that need electricit?? I would have thought not. If I measure the wiring coming into the lock, they read 12v when the external...

Is it possible for different hard surfaces to affect bass drastically?

That was my initial thought, reset the subs settings to factory positions and took it from there. There is bass, it's just not deep ground shaking bass.

Is it possible for different hard surfaces to affect bass drastically?

Before and after. Pictures might answer some questions. So some slight changes, display cabinet on right instead of book shelf, wine rack on cabinet on left. The subs were recently moved to see if it helps. (And yes, a rug as per pic)

The stuff mixed with 24 carat gold? Unfortunately not.
