    Citroen C2 VTR Value.

Hi all, and especially people that are interested in cars like I am. My neighbour who is an elderly lady is moving out of Jhb, and selling her 2006 C2 VTR which has hardly been used for the last 2 years. due to her failing eyesight. I'm battling to find a value on this car as there aren't many...

    Which DSTV decoder ?

Let me conclude this thread. The cost differences are just that the more expensive option includes an installation voucher. The Decoder is the 9S. You have to actually speak to a human to get anything done with Multichoice, as you just go in circles with bot. extremely irritating. After speaking...

    Gunter Steinhart TVP181 FS

That power connector looks like a 10 pin Hirose cable. Those were used in the film industry to connect audio mixers to camera's. Line level...not power !. I have quite a few lying around if anyone's interested ? Male and female .

Recommendation on portable battery power station or portable generator

I have the small 1.6Kva Gentech. It's through a changeover switch and I can run my fridge, 2 TV's, hifi, wifi, lights ( all LED ) computer etc and it only uses about 50% of its capacity. 3 litre tank lasts 2 bouts of 2.5 hour shedding. I recon the Mac Afric would do a similar job. Just keep an...

    Which DSTV decoder ?

Thank you. I didn't get there today, so will pop over tomorrow and check out which decoder models are being used. The new remote will even be a learning curve unfortunately, but she has help there. I have an active premium account, but as you know , we were all punished and can only have one...

    Wireless Dolby Atmos Speakers recommendations

Personally I think it's easier to run speaker cables to rear speakers than mains cables, so I would just go with regular passive surrounds.

    Which DSTV decoder ?

Thank you. I'll pop in today and check what the other residents are using as it's a communal system.

    Which DSTV decoder ?

My elderly mother has a Pace DSTV decoder, and it still works surprisingly. We are moving her to a care home on the weekend and there is a DSTV point in her room and obviously the PACE won't work there as it has a completely different dish setup. 1 ) What is the cheapest decoder on the market at...

    Honda BR-V 1,5 - any issues?

I've just watched the above review and ........ya. It's not a Honda IMO. Just another global car that could have any badge on it. It doesn't have a V TEC motor anymore or even look like a Honda.

    Honda BR-V 1,5 - any issues?

I did the TV ad for the BRV when it was launched and was a bit disappointed with the interior quality which was not up to typical Honda standards as I know them. Cheaper plastics and iffy fitment compared to other models. They are made in India to price point as are many cars these days. I'm...

Looking for equivalent car head unit locally

Personally, I think these units are sold on features and SQ takes a backseat. I bought a similar cheapie for my wife's car because my son (who's taken it over it seems ) wanted Bluetooth. The screens are laggy and low res, and they don't sound very good. You're far better off with a decent brand...

Anyone else having issues with FNB app?

I can't find the " pay again " option in the payments history on the phone app. It's there when you log in on a computer.

    Trying to get used to the new look;

Is it hard to get used to the new look after a decade, or is it just me ? This is the first time I'm posting items for sale, and struggling to say the least, to make it fair on everyone who responds. Is a " conversation " the new way of sending a private response or what used to be a message ...

    Car Audio Q's

Connect only ONE RCA into the monoblock. It doesn't matter if it's L or R. Worth a try to eliminate a possible phase inversion which would cause cancellation and no output.

    WHATSLEFT

Try Plaster of Paris mixed with resin for the speaker internals. You can pour it in with each side at a slight angle, so the insides are not parallel. I did this with my AE2 clones.

    Home Affairs/Passport application

I had the same issue with FNB Centurion. It took ages to get a slot and when I went 3 weeks ago at my booked time, they were offline. A few of us waited the whole morning and eventually gave up. I had to rebook for a week later and went through and was sorted in 15 minutes. 4 days later I got an...

You could also try Broadcast lines near Cresta. They stock REAN amongst other brands.
