Yep, splits up front, decent sub with a 3/4 channel amp and you are golden. Simple, uncomplicated and very good if done right.

Basically, get some long leads, put the sub in the main listening position (yes, no joke) exactly where your ears would be. Then crawl around in all the various spots where the sub could potentially be places and listen as to which option sounds best. Then swap your position with the sub ;-)

they are pretty thin, so not quarry tiles. They are your general average cheap jobbies. On the right hand side of the pic is a small circular stain, that looks remarkably like the bottom of the bucket that is used, ironically, to clean the floors :p
