    Hi Mafioso The thermocouple can show a incorrect reading not to a very large extent, my advice is the station and iron should be recalibrated every -+2000 hrs of use The Magnum2005 and 2006 have this built in so the display will show a "S1" after 2000 hrs and should be serviced.
