Naughty, yes they are the same except that they are burnt cherry in colour. The pic shows them as 8 ohms but they are actually 4 ohms? Which site did you get the pic from? Were there any reviews? Avi, where did you see prices for them and what was it?

My AR sub-1000 has two rca inputs (L & R), is this what they call XLR inputs? My receiver though, only has 1 sub output, do I just use a splitter on the sub cable from the receiver to the sub or would it be better to connect the sub via the main L & R speaker outputs and connect to the high...

Clown, I replaced the Wharfedale's 25mm tweeters (blown) with the jbl's bigger 50mm? tweeters and they were sounding fine in the Wharfedales. The tweeters in the sonys is also 25mm, do you mean that the signal from the jbl's crossover could be to strong for the smaller tweeters?
