Quite a few transistors and resistors as well as the STK IC were replaced as part of the repair. I also had many of the capacitors replaced at my request whilst the amp was with Kelly in Pretoria. The end result was very impressive indeed.

My Marantz PM84 was successfully repaired by Kelly Reddy in Pretoria. Will PM you his contact numbers. It was not an easy repair but he persevered and delivered the goods. This was after a local Cape Town technician had a shot at it without success.

You could also try Wessel van Oudshoorn. He has years of experience and is used by some of the high-end dealers in Cape Town for repair work on some serious gear. He is based in Table View. Contact him on 082 856 1952.
