I recently purchased a Apple TV 3rd generation to play stream music to my hifi. The issue that i'm having is that the audio will not play through my hifi speakers and instead only plays through my TV speakers.
The setup that i have is as follows:
1. The HDMI is connected to the TV and apple TV.
2. The optical cable is connected to my Maverick DAC1 and the Apple TV.
Is there anyway around this issue?
