Cambridge A500 - Which bookshelf speakers?

Just picked up a used Cambridge Audio A500 yesterday. Tested it out on my Jamo E3 surrounds (all I had to test with) and the amp sounds really great. I'm pleased with it thus far.
Looking for a recommendation for a set of bookshelf speakers. This system will be in my study - source will be my sound card in my PC. Preferably, I'd like to keep the costs under
R1000 (yes, I know that means 2nd hand!)
