First ever 2 Ohm Amp

I had a Marantz Amp that was stolen a while back. I remember reading somewhere that it was the first ever 2 ohm stable amp on the market.

Basically I would like to know the model of the amp as I cannot remember what it was and google doesn't seem to be my friend right now.

I am right that Marantz made the first 2 Ohm stable amp or not?
