I became very excited reading the thread on DSTV cost vs Internet Cost http://www.avforums.co.za/index.php/topic,23718.0.html, but there is an obstacle. All good and well having tv streamed to my PC, but how do I get this to the TV now? My computer has a sound out via stereo headphone jack, and picture via SVGA.
My TV is a modern flat screen with HDMI and RCA inputs.
Help please. And I cannot digest being advised to switch to Apple or get another TV. The bank manager will not allow that. I need a cheap workable solution with stuff freely available on the market. It seems a SVGA to RCA convertor does not fall in this league.
