I have this enterprise accesspoint I want to use at home. I'm currently powering it with an external power supply, which limits it's placement. The idea is to mount it on my roof where it belongs.
It can be powered by ethernet which is what I want to do.
I have no idea what to buy for it?
I'm maybe looking for a 4 port switch that can output power over ethernet on at least one port.
I have a single cat 5 cable running 30m to the living room. with a switch I can connect the mac mini and the tv to ethernet and power the AP with built in power from ethernet.
What other options do I have?
