Rotel 1565 for sub use?

Ok so i have this amp and i know its for HT and a 5ch amp, but can i use this to drive 2subs. is it possible to use 2 powered channels per sub (they are JBL 12" single coil) or will i need a duel voice coil sub for this? i have a small sony driving the subs but i feel they need more power.
