Up until today I've had my mind set on the Monitor Audio Rx6. But now I have a dilemma that I can't decide on?? I got offered a pair of MA Gx50 in Gloss White for R8000 :rubhands: Then someone also brought up the Rx2 as well, i can get the RX6 for R11000. What would be the better choice? I have listened to the GX50 & RX6 and really liked both, but prefered the bigger sound of the RX6, not sure if I will get to demo the RX2.
Would I be crazy to over-look the Gx50, maybe with a sub it will be the perfect setup for me, but then wont the RX2 be better all round plus i doubt i would need a sub with them??? I know only I can decide, but a little bit of advise from those more experienced would help.
A few points to take into consideration.
1. I like the MA sound so I want to stick with them, current speakers are the BX5.
2. Budget R11500 max ( once I sell my BX5 )
3. I want more Bass than what the BX5 offer, my room is 6m x 8m.
4. I don't want to upgrade for the next 5 years, I want to enjoy my music more and not worry about whether my sound is perfect or not ( well I hope I can stick to this :whistler: )
5. I will only use them for music.
6. I want a nice full balanced sound, sometimes the BX5 can sound a little lean.
7. Good Re-sell value would also be great for when I do upgrade again.
