My bedroom TV has given up the ghost and I want to move my lounge tv to the bedroom and get a 55inch for the lounge. I need a decent 3D TV and one thats thin bezzle to keep the GF happy. The new samsung 55es8000 fits the ticket but is pretty pricey and I don't need/use gesture and voice control etc. just want a really good picture quality. Dion wired still has last years D8000 on sale at R25k, is that a good buy or are there better alternatives out there. I mostly watch the DSTV HD channels, blu ray and streamed HD content and the odd 3D movie and am a huge football and formula 1 fanatic and the room has a fair bit of glare from incoming light. Any advice welcome
