I've got a set of Polk's. They are nice, but just not loud enough. No one around the C.T. area has the bigger Polk's to listen to, and the bigger Polk's don't get good reviews. Apparently SVS Prime's would have been a good alternative, but once again we're in S.A...

Did play around with the Yamaha a bit last night. When the "CD-direct" button is used, it does not allow the bass and treble to be set. Sounds better without it, but still not to my liking. (not full and rounded). Was thinking of buying a Marantz SR-7500. What do you guys think, any good ?
